1. So, The First Thing You Have To Do Is To Open Your Browser And Go To pubcenter.microsoft.com.
12. Microsoft Account Is Required To Get Access To It. If You Have The Account, Log In And Click On The “Monetize New App”. If You Don’t Have The Account Then Well There Is Always An Option Of Creating A New One. :)
23. Following Screen Will Appear. Select ‘Windows’ In Device Type If Your App Is For Windows 8.1 Otherwise Select ‘Windows Phone’ If Your App Is For Windows Phone.
34. In This Step You Are Required To Put Your App Name In The First Field And In The Next One You Will Name Your Ad Unit And Select The Size Of The Ad As Pointed Out By Red Circles In The Image Below.
45. The Blue Area Shows The Size Of The Ad. So, It Will Be Easy For You to Select It. This Is How Your Ad Will Appear On Your App.
76. You Can Select The Ad Category According To Your App. But Its Not Mandatory, To Choose It According To Your App Category.
57. So, Now Click On ‘Save’ And You Are Done.
68. Now, Leave Your Browser And Open Visual Studio 2013. Then Open The App Which You Are Going To Put The Ad On. On The Left Bar You Will See The ‘Toolbox’ Option As Shown In Image. Click On It And Write ‘AdControl’ In The Given Field.
89. Simply Click On The “AdControl” And Drag It On To The Main Page (Or The Page You Are Going To Put Ad On).
910. Now, Here’s The Most Important Part Go Back To Your Browser & Open Your Ad. On The Right Bottom Of The Page You Will See The ‘Application ID’ and ‘Ad unit ID’ As Shown.
1111. Go Back To The Visual Studio, In The Bottom Of Page You Will See The ApplicationId, AdUnitID, Height, And Width. Copy The Application Id And Ad unit Id From , Pubcenter And Paste Them To Your App. Like This:1212. Adjust The Height And Width According To Your Ad Size.
1013. Now, Save Your Project And Run It.
